Cultured Bakehouse provides allergy friendly products, workshops, and digital resources that are Free From the top 14 allergens. Every effort is made to ensure all ingredients and equipment remain completely Free From allergens. However, individual sensitivities vary, and participants and customers are responsible for verifying that any product or recipe is suitable for their personal dietary needs.

Cultured Bakehouse and its owner, Zilka Gerritsen, are not responsible for any allergic reactions, injuries, or adverse effects that may occur during or after the use of any product, recipe, workshop, or digital resource.

By purchasing, attending, or participating in any Cultured Bakehouse activity, you acknowledge and accept this disclaimer in full.

 

2. Workshop Terms and Conditions

 

Bookings and Payments

• All workshops must be booked and paid for in advance through the Cultured Bakehouse website.

• Your place is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

• Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.

 

Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Refunds will not be given if a participant changes their mind, fails to attend, or decides they did not enjoy the workshop.

• Refunds may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, at the full discretion of Cultured Bakehouse.

• If a workshop must be cancelled by Cultured Bakehouse due to illness, venue issues, or unforeseen events, participants may choose between a full refund or rescheduling to a future date.

 

Health and Safety

• All participants must follow the safety instructions provided during the session.

• Cultured Bakehouse is not liable for injuries, accidents, burns, allergic reactions, or damages that occur during or after the workshop.

• By attending, you agree to participate at your own risk and take full responsibility for your own safety.

• Children may attend only in workshops specifically designed for parents and children, and must remain under direct supervision of their parent or guardian at all times.

 

Photography and Media Consent

• Photos and short videos may be taken during workshops for promotional purposes.

• Faces or identifying details will only be shown with prior verbal or written consent.

• Participants who prefer not to appear in photos or videos can simply inform Zilka before or during the session.

 

Behaviour and Conduct

• Cultured Bakehouse reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves inappropriately or disrupts the session.

• No refunds will be given in such cases.

 

3. Digital Products and eBook Policy

 

All Cultured Bakehouse digital products, including eBooks, online courses, and downloadable guides, are for personal use only. They may not be shared, copied, or redistributed in any format.

Once purchased, digital products are non-refundable. If you experience any technical issue with a download or access link, please contact hello@culturedbakehouse.com, and we will help resolve it as quickly as possible.

All information provided in Cultured Bakehouse digital resources is for educational purposes only. Cultured Bakehouse is not responsible for how you use this information or for any results or outcomes following its use.

 

4. Liability Waiver

 

By attending a Cultured Bakehouse workshop, event, or demonstration, you understand and agree that:

 

• You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk.

• You are responsible for any injuries or damages that may occur during participation.

• You release Cultured Bakehouse, its owner, staff, and affiliates from all liability related to accidents, personal injury, loss, or damage of property.

• You acknowledge that working with kitchen equipment (such as knives, ovens, induction hobs, and utensils) carries inherent risks, and you accept full responsibility for using them safely.

If you have any medical condition, allergy, or physical limitation that could affect your participation, please inform Zilka before the workshop begins.

 

5. Privacy and Data Protection

 

Cultured Bakehouse values your privacy. Personal information collected through bookings, forms, or newsletters is used only for communication, payment processing, and updates related to our products or workshops.

We will never share, sell, or disclose your personal data to third parties, except when required by law.

• All workshops are held mainly in Northern Ireland, with online sessions launching soon.
